For the rear shock tower access I understand I must remove the cup holder panels on both sides. Is there a safe way to remove these without damaging them? Looking for some helpful hints.

Use a thin flathead screwdriver and put into the slot on the edge and it will pop right out. Make sure you remove the rubber mat first. And it is the tray behind the cupholder that is the access panel.

I see it didn't take long to get an answer. Good luck with the job.

Thank you very much for your insight, it was as you said - job done.
