rear spline count

ok, im not sure if it changed year to year, but i doubt it did....

would a stock '04 trac have come from the factory with a 28 spline or a 31 spline axle? (i would guess 28 as 31 seems a bit much for factory)

I'm trying to order an eaton and i havent got a clue.

To the best of my knowledge all Explorers are 31 spline, but I'd wait for a couple more replies to confirm that before you go ordering anything.
