I was under my 96 X Sport changing the rear shocks per the threads I read on the subject, and I noticed that the rear suspension only has two leaves on each side. Is this right? There are about 4 leave spring pieces used as spacers above the leave springs and then the axle.
Also! Is it possible to drop the axle down and put the leave spring spacers above the axle. The axle would then be sandwiched between the leave springs at the bottom and the spacers at the top. This should give about a 1.5" lift at the back. This could then match the 1.5" lift on the torsion bars in front.
Thanks
