Hey, i have some instructions that i got off of here about making your own rear sway bar disconnects and i have a few questions.
1. How much is the actually going to help out the rear with articulation?

2. Will this allow to the driveshaft to rip out something out of the back of my transfer case. I know it is bolted on but would it hurt something with this extra flex?

3. Anyone have any instructions for the front sway bar disconnects!?

Thanks for your help!

Happy trailes!

-- It will help...i mean, you not going to ramp 1000, but you'll notice it.

-- probably not.....if you are on stock springs, then definatley not.

in all honesty...you really don't even need a rear sway bar. make up some front disconnects by using a cotter pin in place of the existing top bolts, and you should be good to go!!! good luck!

Well, yeah i guess it would be pretty easy to just use cotter pins, but i have another question. Wouldn't rattle a bunch? Like everytime you moved! Thanks!

if you get a smaller pin than the hole, then yeah...probably, but it won't if you get a pin the same size.

Just take it completely off and leave it in the shed... That is what I did and I like the way it rides allot better.
And it looks cool when you do this...

Geez, that's awesome! So i won't kill myself going around a huge curve with no rear sway bar. Now i did go with out the front for a few days until i got my new bushing and it was horrible, man you looked at the wheel funny and the body would roll. haha. Well, thanks, i was going to go to lowes tonight and the parts in need to do it with but now i guess i will just take it off. Still need something for the front. I was just going to use a linch pin on it but there is no way i could get enough pressure on it to compress the bushing some everytime i put it back on. Anyone else have an idea! Thanks!

Happy trailes!

PS this is my 200th post wooohooo!!
