I have a 98 Sport, and I wanted to get a thicker swaybar.. I know Explorer Express has them but they are like $160...Anyone know of any other companies that sell these?

The Explorer Express bar is a great item. Others are available. Try Dead Link Removed for example.

Good luck.....

Try Saleen.com...I checked out their clearance page the other day and they had front and rear sway bars for around $50/$60...and these are right from the XP8 Explorer! I know they had them for my truck but I'm not sure about yours. If I wasn't paying for my Cobra's this month I'd get both of them. I called about them and they are the same diameter as stock but are 30% stiffer. Sounds good to me =)

does anyone have experience with the saleen, explorer express or helliwig ones? share your thoughts... :)

I have driven an Explorer, a 88, with an Explorer Express rear bar. Wow, what a difference ub\n handeling it makes.

I don't know about the others you listed.

hmmm do you mean 98?

so you say alot of difference? im assuming the car doesn't lean as much in turns... did it ride harsher with the new swaybar?

The body lean in cornering is vastly reduced. Yes, the ride is a bit harsher, but hardly noticable and well worth it for the vastly improved handeling.

I highly recommend one.
