Rear window switches 2000 X

So yes, i feel stupid asking this question but, my window switches on the rear doors of my truck dont light up when the lights are on. is this normal? or do i have some damn problem, just trying to figure out if they should light up before i tare **** apart to find out that they arnt lighted switches. thanks!

good question... on my 96 and in the drawing, the switches are lit (seems to be a common ford offering in general). I would assume that yours should but hopefully someone will confirm. Having said that, the splice point for all window controls comes from the same point (again in 96 drawings) which I think is in the driver's side rear door column area (again 96).

The rear's are not lit in my 99...or not that I have ever noticed

thanks, well then, if they have the leds in em, then they will be lit soon. ill make a write up when i do it.
