Rear wiper not working

I replaced the switch to no avail. Will look at the motor next but I think there is a short somewhere since it is intermitten (very). As some here pointed out, even when tjey work they work like crap.

Actually, it really isn't. All the research has been done. If you have basic mechanical skills and can follow direction you can do this. Read through the thread to the end, you'll get it.

Common problem. Try wiggling the arm up and down. You could do this with or without the wiper switch being on. Try opening the glass and then slamming it a couple times. There is a sensor switch in there that won't let the wiper come on when the glass is open and sometimes that needs massaging.

Thanks for the suggestion. That worked for me.

Backstory...
Our rear wiper hasn't worked in months. Finally got around to look at it and found the back wires (8 total) feeding the glass were all broken along with the fuses for the Rear Wiper in both fuse panels were blown.

Repaired all the wires. Replaced both fuses. When the wiper is turned on I can hear clicking at the motor so I know the motor is receiving the signalcks by the motor but the wiper wasn't moving.

Did as you suggested.. When I heard the clicks I moved it along.. The first 5-10 rotations moved very slow and then the wipers started working thus after...
