I was wondering if someone could tell me the gear in my rearend. the code is [45] and i was also wondering iif taking the fuses out for the 4 wheel drive would hurt anything. it is a 02 exp awd.

Open 3.55s. I don't know about the 4wd fuse. Why do you want to take it out?

my control module is bad i think. when u make a sharp turn it grabs just like it's in 4 hi. thanks for the info on the rearend

So, it's A4WD not AWD. I can't see where pulling the fuse is any different than doing the Brown Wire Mod. There's a very long thread about doing the BWM over in the modded 02-05 forum. It's a sticky thread there. You should read through that thread and maybe thing about doing the mod.

pull the glove box down and then disconnect the little black box behind it. That is your 4x4 drive module. Then pull fuse number 12 under dash. IRC it is fuse 12 .

I had to do that because my rig is stuck in 4hi also. I have no issues like this. No warning lights or codes.
