When I increase the Temp, the recirc turns off. Is there any way to keep it on?

Welcome to the Forum.
Your post was moved to the 6th gen forum. BTW, the member you quoted in the 5th gen thread was last seen here Oct. 18, 2018.
I can't comment at the moment since I very seldom use "recirc" mode.

From the owners manual it may turn off at times. It's not to specific about it.

Note: Recirculated air may turn off, or
prevent you from switching on, in all air flow
modes except MAX A/C to reduce the risk
of fogging. Recirculation may also turn on
and off in various air distribution control
combinations during hot weather to improve
cooling efficiency.

Hi, I'm recently thinking about buying a new explorer and come across this issue. It bother me a lot. I'm currently driving a rental 2021 and the recirculation keeps turning off. From Dale's reply it seems to be a designed feature but living in a state where wild fires and tons of unknown plantation happens all around the year, auto switching off the recirculation seems to be a bad idea...
Any chance we can disable the auto switching with Forscan or something?
