Recommendations for "True" fog lights.

The 550's are about $100 retail, but you can get a complete set for ~$50-60 if you look around and find a place that has them on sale and use discount coupons as well. New sets also show up on ebay and go for $50-60.

Decide for yourself if you want clear or yellow, it's a personal preference.

Rockauto.com has the Philips 9004 WeatherVision bulbs for ~$2.00/ea. if you wanted to try those. Shipping is a bit high but they have a 5% discount code you can find here on the forum.

The benefit to rectangular fog lights is a wider, flatter beam, which is what you want for fog lights. If you put them under the bumper, they will have more ground clearance than a round lamp, and so be less subject to damage. They will also match the rectangular headlights of the Navajo, and look less stupid.

Keep in mind it's more than possible to mount more than one set of fog lights, you can mount the Hellas under the bumper on either side for a low, flat fog beam, and use Cibies or similar circular ones on top of the bumper, like in front of the grille, to act like brighter headlights. You can't legally use both pairs of fogs at once, though, and you should have covers on at least one pair to be legal.
