I plan to replace my plugs tomorrow but am unsure as to which plugs to go with.

The local shop carries Bosch, Autolite, Champion, etc...

Any particular ones that you recommend or also that I should stay away from?

Thanks!

I usually use Motorcraft. I stay away from Bosch because I've heard horror stories about them.

After a bit of searching it sounds as though others don't care much for Bosch either. I'll either go wtih the motocraft or autolites. Thanks.

I run autolite no problems with them so far.

Autolite double platinum plugs are the best (to me...):D

I have tried Autolite Platinum, Bosch Platinum and these things have lasted only a year before wear on the ground electrode reared it ugly head.

I am now trying the Autolite XP plugs and WOW what a difference. The car has a Plasma Booster Ignition box and I have been running on these plugs for a little over a year (6000 miles). I have cheaked the plugs center, and ground electrode and no wear. Would recommend these plugs to anyone.

Look up the Motorcraft plug for your application and go with that. You aren't going to find any horsepower in other plugs, so why screw around with them? There are a boat load of 100k motors running around on the OE plugs. If you can get that kind of mileage out of them, why change? It's what the factory recommends. Go with it and you won't have any issues.

I put in 8 Motorcraft Platinums today, thanks!
