Hi! I have been a member of this site for a while but never asked any questions. I always just read your posts. Anyways, i have just bought a red light and i wanted to install them over the gas and brake pedals. I was wondering if i can connect it to my fuse box where they will turn on when i turn on my headlights, or they will turn on when I turn on the interior light ( the light that turns on when you open the door ). If anybody has ever done this before i would appreciate any help. If this goes well, i will consider doing more tiny mods to the car. :) :)

the easiest way to wire extra interior lights is off of a switch. That way you control the light more than only when interior lights are on, or headlights. But the answer to your question is yes, you can hook them up to turn on with headlightsm or whatever other light you want.

Get a lighting wiring kit from Autozone or Pepboys. It should include a wiring harness, switch, and relay. Hook these lights up as you would aux fog or driving lights. You can power them with direct power or ignition controlled power.

Hook up 2 signal inputs to the relay: one through the switch and one from the headlight fuse. This way the light will always come on with the headlights but can also be turned on by you without the headlights on.

This is just a suggestion. You can modify this plan however you want.
