im thinking red with flat black, im looking for fender flares and they will be flat black. also im planning on ordering 2 inch coil spacers this week, after that im going to put a 3 inch body lift in, then eventually 31's. just need time and money lol

my wife bought me some lights for my birthday so i put them on, they are not wired yet because i need more time and i bought some more wire. i will get pics with them on at night over the weekend.

i think its because of the body mounts, the other side is lined up.

painting cowls

here are pics i took this morning:

Got a question for you on this one. when you repainted your cowl, what prep work did you do and did you worry about the wiper fluid nozzles? what kind of paint did you use and did if i were to do this would i have to put any paper under the cowl itself? or is there not really anything under there that i should worry about? I just bought a "new" set of cowls from a guy on here and they are a lil beat (but much better then mine) and i think that i nice new coat of paint would do them well.

I should mention that I would just pop them back off and do this but i ended up having to super glue my spray nozzles to the cowls them self so it wouldn't be a easy as i would like it to be.

i just sanded it lightly by hand and sprayed it with flat black spray paint. the previous owner had wiper squirters with lights in them so i removed them before i painted it. then i took the factory squirters out of my parts truck and installed them.

on the passanger side of the cowl is a vent for when you turn your vent on for outside air, not sure about the drivers side.

i bought a consol/cup holder at walmart today, it is made for a mini van but fits perfect with the bucket seat mod:

it has a sliding top that locks so i decided to install switches for my lights inside it:

here is a pic of the switches wired under the consol:

i then drilled a hole in the back for the wires:



i will get pics tomorow of the consol in the truck.
