Relocating fog switch

Hi,
I want to relocate the switch for my Hella 500s to the dash just to the left of the stock light knob. How do I go about removing that part of the dash? Is this a big project?

I tried doing a search and didn't really find any good info on this.

I believe that area is full on the other side of the dash. I've asked my Alarm Guy to install the LED there and he said no can't do.

try putting it on the window pillar right next to that i did that with my fog switch

personally, i like the way i have my switches mounted the best... and if you ever sell the truck, getting a new piece of out of a junkyard would be pretty easy.

I already mounted it under the stock light dial thing. It looks real nice there.

Do you have access to a digicam? I'd be interested in seeing the final product because it sounds cool but I'm having a hard time visualizing it.

uhhh i have a wanna be walmart digicam....it looks crappy as hell but ill post a pic of it later today.
Its not right under the light dial its on the other dash panel under the light dial - u'll see.

Does that green glow at night bothers you when you're driving? My switch that came with the KC Lites are bright as heck. I had to paint it black so it doesn't distract me when I'm driving.

no it doesnt bother me at all, the swich is kinda faced down so it doesnt shine right in my face but i can still see it lit up at night
