So My X has a Autostart car starter
Its really old by the looks of it
Two buttons a "I" and a "II"
the 2 used to start it
Now it does nothing. I have a switch under the dash to turn it on and off
When i turn it on, It clicks 4 times.

Anyone have any ideas on how to sync it or program it to work with my X again?

It stopped working about 4 weeks ago
Then it worked for 2 days, and then i noticed the battery in the remote was low
So i took it out, and it stopped working again. . .
I know the new battery works, I installed a LED into it lol

i friend of mine used to do a lot of car starters. what he has told me in the past is that if they stop working, more then likely the "brain" is fried, and it is cheaper to replace the car starter.

what vroom says is true but it can also be a bad relay. But most of the time after you spend the time working on it and buying different parts it is cheaper to go to Autozone and pick up a 49.99 special. I have one in my camaro and it has been three years since and still working great. The distance has died a little but it still picks up from upstairs in my house which is all I am concerned with.
