Just wondered the best way to take of both the decal type stickers and the actually raised emblems that dealers put on vehicles. I think they look tacky, and well, I'm not getting paid to advertise for them ;)
I would guess just use soapy water with some sort of plastic scraper so the paint or clear coat isnt damaged. What do you think??

Thanks in advance!

i took mine off the moment i got the truck home. i also took off the sport logo. usually a hairdryer and your finger nail is all you need.

great! Thanks for the info... as I will be taking mine off as well.

for the raised logos you could also try a little fishing line and some goo-gone(use the fishing line to get between the decal and the adhesive and "saw" them apart) then use the googone to clean up the residue

You can use a heat gun or hair drier to peel it off and then use something like lighter fluid or AFTA which can be found in the paint or carpet sections of most hardware stores.

Removing Dealer Stickers

Try using a hair dryer for the decal-type dealer stickers. The hard plastic kind are usually glued. You may be able to use the hair dryer there too. Problem is cleaning the paint after.... Good Luck!

Be careful with the fishing line. If not careful it will cut through your emblem just in case you want to use them again in the future.
