What do I need to do to remove the plastic guard on the rocker panel on my 95 Sport? I have some rust coming through and need to patch it up for inspection.

I assume they are the same as the tuberware on my '93... The lower part is held in by a dozen or so push pins will the upper part has a dozen or so clips. I just grabbed the plastic trim and pulled up and out (like dman726749 indicated) and it just starting coming off. Once you get some off you'll see what I mean..

BTW there was a single screw in the front and rear fender well that needs to be removed first...

Well, I take a little bit more of a " reusable " approach.

I have these " Mechanic Picks " I pull out on the moulding enough to peek in and see the " Feet " on the clips, I reach in with the pick and relaese the little feet and walk the thing off.

I know my description sucks with out being able to see what I am talking about.

Thanks guys

I didn't get the email notifications or I would have replied awhile ago.

I tried to call you
