Removing 3rd row for fully functional storage comparment PROJECT!

Seems like either I will have to go higher up just as you did or figure something else out. I want the load floor as flat as possible, and strong enough to put anchor points onto the "new" load floor I create.

Well what I have is actually pretty sturdy. I'd feel decently comfortable hauling a full 55 gallon oil drum on top of mine, but that's just me lol.
 






3rd row seat removal with a twist.

I am almost finished my 3rd row/cargo area redo. I have setup the cargo area using factory bolt locations. I plan on being able to switch back to seat setup in about an hour.
