I have a 96 AWD and have problems with the abs kicking in at a slow stop. I decided to pull the sensors to check and clean. I got one side out ok but the other broke off leaving the plastic with o-ring stuck. Has anyone had the same problem. Also is there anywhere beside Ford to buy new sensors at a good price.

Just an update, I was able to remove the rest of the sensor from the hole with some liquid wrench and longnose pliers. I would still like to hear from anyone who knows a supplier for the abs sensors other than Ford.

Thanks

I saw one on ebay yesterday.

Thanks, I took a look and it looks good! I will pursue it and let you know.

No problem:)

If you are refering to the ABS/hub in the front wheels then I bought mine at a local parts store for $200

It's actually the wire harness/lead that fits into the abs/hub you described.

Mine was the whole hub w/ wireing. Didn't look that close but didn't seem to come, off but I do believe that they list is separately on Ford Parts Network
