so when i first bought my 06 Ex used almost 2 years ago, i noticed it had some tacky wood trim on the dash, but for some reason i never really paid any attention to it, until TODAY...

at times i looked at it and was like " cant believe ford would use these cheap stuff" but looking closer i realized its just one of those fake wood kits from ebay or something that has been sitting on top of the "carbon fiber looking" OEM trim, now im wanting to remove the whole thing but im afraid to ruin the OEM one underneath, any product recommendations to get this done? i've heard of Goo gone but don't know what effect would have to the OEM trim.

this thing is all over, around the radio, steering wheel buttons, AC control, around the gear shift, front and rear windows controls, rear cup holders, and is funny i've lived with it for almost two years and now is bugging the hell out of me lol

As Ornery said use a hair dryer to heat the fake trim and remove it then use goo gone to remove the adhesive.
