So I want to give a little background on my truck so it may help. I bought it from my neighbor who is like my grandfather to me. Only thing wrong with the truck when I bought it at 92000 ($3000) was the rear abs light was on and a fender was dented, no big deal. I researched the rear abs and i dont give a **** i can pump my own brakes.

So lets get started, I have done rear axle seals, front axle bearings, new rotors, and thats all i can really think of besides rebuilding my window motors. Other than that my truck hasnt been beat up at all. When i did change my front right axle bearing, it seemed like it was burnt a little bit where it was. ( this will lead to another question later). Oh I also flushed my coolant system which now lead to a corrosion issue in it. I guess the gunk on the inside of it kept my coolant from mixing with the corroded metal.

So a while back my truck was overheating after an hour drive. I figured out my thermostat was stuck, so i changed it and everything was fine. Well the first day it got really cold here, I drove someone home from work and smelled antifreeze when they got out of the car and my heart dropped. I looked at my temp gauge and it was up, so I sit for a min and continue to drive. It went back up immediately and I stopped again. I had to drive it home so i didnt, when i got there i notice water dripping off of my transmission. I know it was the coolant because it has a very distinct rust color now. So my truck has now sat for 3-4 weeks because I have not had time to look at it at all until today. College finals (quarter system for those semester guys going "finals already?") and work kept me from doing this. I had my motorcycle to ride but need to stop because my tires are wearing off.

So here is the new problem, the freeze plug on the back of the engine is leaking now, it has a crack in it and leaks steadily from it. I want to replace it with the rubber ones. My question is how the hell do i get it out?

Sorry for the long story.

Also when I am at higher speed and I turn slightly to the right, I hear a vibration/grinding noise. this is going back to the burnt axle question, they may be related.
