Hey guys. New to this forum. I searced the site and found that someone has removed the orange reflector in the factory clear corner lights but I couldn't find out how. If you know how could you please describe the procedure in detail. Thnx.

you have to heat them and break the seal around the edges, damn near impossible without meltin them...i would just shell out the 55 bucks for clears.

I put them in the oven and heated them up and couldnt get it to come apart. So I heated it up some more and the sucker started to melt & become deformed. Still wouldnt come apart.
You might have better luck but I would try it on an extra housing and not one you have to reuse.

I got my clears for $37 on eBay. Save yourself the wasted time and money and just buy clears. On other cars, taking the reflector out is a piece of cake but that is not the case on the Explorer.
