ok, heres the deal, i have a explorer with 160K miles on it, a broken exaust pipe, and its on it third leg...
i love the stock stereo(compared to my new cars stereo, a 1992 yukon with 80K miles on it)

so i am just wondering if it is possible to get the deck out the sub and the speakers and use them on my yukon.

i have manny car audio literate friends but they cant seem to figure out how to remove the sub because you would have to remove the entire back right of the cars pannels to get at it. i have the kind with the snapp one time use plastic locks.

is this posible to do?
also what other parts would i need besides a harnes for the new deck?

you do have to remove the plastic panel to get the subwoofer out. it's not hard to do. and the rear seatbelt bolt holding the panel in is a T-50.

any how to manuals?
i own the tech book for it, but didnt see any removal guides...
also how do i get off the plastic pannel without damaging the screws? and is there a way to get them out, because the one i forcefuly riped out took a min or two...

if you have a panel removal tool or a really strong buttrer knife, slide it behind the panel and under the plastic clips. then pry it up to pop the clips out. do this all the way across. then remove the seatbelt bolt. if you do break any clips, you can pick up a bag of them from the ford dealer for about $10. they give a lot of them.
