I cannot for the life of me get the steering wheel off of my 2001 ranger. I’m trying to replace the clock spring. My battery is disconnected and I am using a 2 jaw puller. Any help greatly appreciated!

You need a steering wheel puller.. it threads into the wheel

It will pop Off of there! Sometimes they can take some real force It is a press fit
Some of them are just really tight
Once you have it under load with the puller try giving it a few Light taps with a dead blow

The puller got me nowhere and stripped the threading on that center hole. This approach is what finally got it off -
