I have a 97 sport 4x4 that I am in the process of lifting. What I want to know is how to remove the stock fender treatment so that I can get to the sheet metal for when I need to trim to fit my tires ?

Are you going to sell your flares?

First let me get the flares of my truck. Then I will consider selling them. Bear in mind they are from a 2dr sport. I don't know if that will change anything or not.

Why do you ask ?

I am moving to Hawaii, and they are really strict about vehicles. I have been told I need to get flares to cover my tires, but flares are pretty expensive, I was thinking I could use sport flares because they are pretty big and all I need is to cover the wheel well.
