I have been hearing a 'rattle/knock' type noise from my left manual hub only when locked and not in 4x4.

My question is Am I supposed to lubricate or repack them manual hubs at all?

the hubs are fine left alone, but there may be issues with the hub breaings... also the inside of the cover should not be packed in grease....

You shouldn't have to repack the hubs. Now if you change the bearings, i'd go ahead and grease up the hubs just to put some fresh stuff in there.

man...that little darling sure is getting big in a hurry Jim, cute as a button too, must take after her mother. Is that your bottle she's got at the moment? She's got that look in her eyes..."it's mine now". Keep posting the pictures of Jennifer..It's fun watching an off roader grow up  :D

you actually want top clean the hubs with ATF, not pack them with grease
