the connector on the harness side going to the pcm, has got bare wires where the plastic sheathing has fallen off causing a. Error code p0135 for the o2 sensor. I am trying to find how the wiring is ran so that I can get at the connector to repair. But cannot seem to trace it back to the top side to have enough room to repair it. Any suggestions? This is a 2006 Eddie Bauer v6 2wd. The sensor is showing resistance when I test the two white wires. I can see copper wires coming out of the connector on the pcm side of the harness.

Any help appreciated

I noticed the 2nd generations had a transmission access panel under the dash better access to the connectors, does anyone know if this is true of the 4th generation?
