I remember a while back on BB there was a manf. listed that made aftermarket but basically identical to OEM boxes - anyone know the name?

just a question, but why would you replace the airbox? and, are you just talking about that thing that holds the filter?

YA, tha box that holds the filter. Mine is cracked in back where the hoses attach and dirt will get in there. I replaced it with the KKM and is nice, but in CA I always have to take it off, put the box back on smog and then switch again. The box I recall from this aftermarket Co. was suppose to be better than stock providing better air and more power than stock.

Just put on your stock one and cut out the bottom.

I just bought a K&N and it came with a add-on sticker to make it legel for CA. Maybe they can get you a sticker.

i have an extra stock airbox just laying around for 91-94s. i replaced with KKM and michigan has no restrictions on that sorta thing.
