Had a rock go though a lens and Ford wants too much for replacement $150 even the used guy wants $75. I'm thinking I can get better lights for not much more. I need them too fit on the existing brackets and would like them roughly the same size as stock.

Any recommendations ??

you could prolly get a set of OEM replacements on ebay for cheaper then that and just upgrade the bulbs to silverstars, PIAA, whatever you prefer?

OEM fog lights are 2 1/2"H X 5 3/4"L.
Hella FF75 are 2 1/8 X 6 1/8 If you want more light and are willing to trim the air dam hole bigger go to the Hella FF300 4 3/8H X 7 1/2W.
Both are priced around $100 and are good lights. Stay away from Optilux. You get what you pay for.

I definitely don't want to trim, the FF75 look like a good option. Do you think they are a lot brighter light than the stocks? As well do you you think it will work with existing brackets or will i need to modify?

I found some OEM's on eBay, problem is it doesn't seem like most these guys want to ship to Canada. Are you running silverstars in your stock housing? I had heard the wiring wasn't strong enough??

are you looking for a Fog light? if so, i got a replacement for mine, from ford, and it was $66.50. so if you are looking for a fog light i dont see why ford said it was 150.

also check out www.procarparts.com they have an oem replacement for around $40. i wish i had looked there first

check ebay for PIAAs

Sid, The Hellas are brighter and a better focused beam. The trade off is that they , as will any non-OEM light, need some modding to mount. IMO it would well be worth the trouble of mounting for the increased brightness.

Thanks everybody, I'll let you know how the story ends..
