Hi guys,

I am looking at getting an replacement radiator off of e-bay for my 96 explorer. In the ad it is listed as "w/o EOC w/ TOC Replacement Radiator"

What is "EOC" and "TOC" ?

Many Thanks,

Not knowing for sure, but I would think, TOC- transmission oil cooler. EOC-engine oil cooler.

If you provide the ebay link you might have better luck getting a 100% answer or you could post the specs. Really your 96 uses the bottom of the rad to cool the trans. fluid. I would say long as the auction has a reference to engine code vin X. You should be fine, if you have the money replace your ac condenser as well you will have perfect access to it and really compliments the repair.

Ok, looked at the link and your good on making this purchase. To explain the without EOC, there is a engine oil cooler for newer SOHC motors. Since your 96 doesn't have that or need it to function. The "transmission oil cooler" or with TOC, is what you will need as your 96 has an OHV also a engine vin code X.

Many Thanks for the Info.
