Replacement Shocks for stock 94 XLT

The shocks on my 94 Explorer are original, and with 70k, its time for replacement.

I have Doetch Tech Shocks on my Jeep, and absolutley love them. Anybody run those on their Explorer?

Any better suggestions? This thing sees VERY little off road time. That's what the Jeep is for...for now.

I'd suggest Bilsteins.

If you want cheaper then I like Gabriel VSTs for the money, although they won't last as long as the Bilsteins.

I also suggest Gabriel VSTs if you're on a budget. $15-20 a shock.

Bilsteins, eh? OK. Money is a non-issue though. I need something that will ride nice on the road, and last.
