Im looking at new step rails (Like running board, except tubes).

I'd like to go with something that can use the factory holes already on the truck for mounting.

Does anyone have any suggestions, and/or visual tips?
I still like the oval bar.

Did you have the step bars? or the running boards?

I had the factory bars on mine (2000) but I removed them when I put 32's on it. I did not replace with anything... I think it looks much better without any. I am taller so it doesnt bother me......... but some of the short folk have a lil hard time getting in occasionally ;)

If you look up at the top of the page by the menus you should see "members rides" i am not sure how you would find mine in that but if you do thats what my bars looked like. I dont know where your located but I still have them if you are interested, with all hardware.

I have the step bars, like you. I do like the look of them, other than the running boards anyway.

Why I want to keep something there is for functionality. The bars do help stup door dings, and keep the truck cleaner. They are very prone to rust though. I had mine sandblasted, and powder coated once already to clean off the rust. Temporary fix, as it turned out.

I'd love to buy your boards. Might be a pain shipping though. I'm in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.

Ouchie!!......... shipping would probably be more than buying new bars!! haha

Yup, ****ty.
