Replacing 96 steering wheel

Been poking around Ebay, etc. for a replacement steering wheel for my 96 XLT. Anyone know what years will fit? I've seen a few that start at 1998, but don't see any difference to the 96. It's black leather with cruise buttons.

98 and up are thicker, I think. I replace my steering wheel with a 98.
