ok so im kinda new to this forum...infact this is my first post, but i have had this problem for a while and i cant seem to find an answer. ok so heres the deal, i have a '99 explorer xlt that i am doing a lot of interior cosmetic stuff for instance, neons, seats and a new sound system. well i am making everything a nice deep blue color in the interior and ive got that mostly done, except for the dash lights. i would like to have the same kind of deep blue color for them, but i seem to be stuck with that really ugly swamp green lights. im also kind of new to cars and modifications so i dont know a lot when it comes to electronics and all that. well my question is, how am i able to get rid of the awful green color? do i need to replace the lights behind the dash or am i supposed to get a completely new dash kit? so any suggestions or opinions would be great. thanks in advace for the help and sorry for any spelling or grammer mistakes, im only an 18 year old C student.
also if you have any extra ideas about how to make my truck "cooler" (for lack of a better word) i'd happily welcome them. but as of right now(while im installing my neons) im thinking of taking some of the easy to remove peices and painting them a blue to match everything else. but hey these are just thoughts
