I'm new here as you all can see. I don't own an Explorer but I am trying to help out a friend to save her some money. I've got some mechanical experience but never replaced battery cables before. The truck isn't with me to look at, it's about 50 miles away. I searched and found this thread http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=250186&highlight=cables but does it still route the same way for the '95-'01 4.0s as in that picture?? I just want to know where it goes so I can be prepared. I'm guessing the other end is a 10mm like on the terminal? There's a lot of corrosion on the cable and down inside of it. I don't know how far down it goes. Is there an easier fix than replacing the cable?
