Hey, sorry if this seems redendent but I was wondering about all the people on here who bought retreaded tires off Tread wright.com. I am looking at a set of thier 245/75r16 Warden tires, which are the BFG All Terrian knock off's. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with these tires and if they would buy them again? Im only asking becuase they are for my mothers 04 Explorer and I want her to have some tires that are actually safe to drive in the rain with instead of the slicks thats came on it. Any oponions or comments are appreciated. Thanks guys.

BFG A/T's aren't really the best choice for good wet traction on pavement. I'm assuming that you're mother isn't going off-roading? I would suggest the Continental Cross-Contact LX.

I bought my 31's from them. I will buy from them again.

No its just her daily driver but Id like a more aggresive all terrain becuase of the back roads we have to take it on when we go to camp and spotting plus the snow we get here during the winter. She likes the look of the bfg's and I think they would go allright since its an AWD? I dont want her to spend a fortune on tires and they wear out in 20k. I know a AWD vehicle isn't the easiest on tires but for the price on tread wright I think she's willing to give a little mileage up for the look and traction. She has 245/75r16 MTR's on it and she likes how it sets up a little higher so I'd like to keep that size on it. I do appreciate all your help tho.
