So, did the Scout guy survive? Did he get thrown out as it tumbled?

The driver did not have a scratch on him at all. It took us a minute to get him to answer us as we were calling for him. We had no clue if he had passengers or not.

I have never seen fire extinguishers come out as quick as they did with the Explorer group.

The trip was a blast guys. I am already figuring out when to go back.

Shake, Rattle, and Roll was a nice little climb. Nice steady pace and a couple scary moments and we were up.

Man sucks that I couldnt make it. I ended up goin to the hospital Sunday morning bc one of my students has Spinal Meningitis, and I wanted to be safe since Ive been sick lately. Had to get my Cipro pill... Oh well... Maybe next time, and Ill bring my camera and be the photog...

All in all it was fun, i think however, next time I decide to camp out I will find something pretty warm to sleep in.

to all of you who make fun of built rigs that are trailered... this is why you trailer your **** when you run tough trails. he was lucky he could drive it home. ive been on that trail several times, and im still wondering how in the hell he went over end over end. i read his description, but ive put a tire in that hole several times. oh well, at least he wasnt hurt. bet he has a cage next time.

and BTW, sorry- i had to do it.

Man, thats impressive... I made that drive (Marshall to Dallas) a few weeks ago, and I wouldnt want to do it at night, without a top or windshield... had to suck... glad he was OK though.

I was surprised to hear that he endo'd it on that trail too. I think all of us in the Explorer group have been down that trail.

I wonder how well an Explorer lid can handle something like that???

I don't know, but it makes me wonder if I shouldn't install a rollcage some day! Although we don't see too many trails like that in the Pines.... just a lot of mud.
