I am looking to see if anyone has a pin diagram for the 2017 Ford Explorer reverse camera. I am looking to relocate the camera to rear mount tire carrier. I am planning to extend the wires and use a switched ground or power to toggle between cameras when the carrier is removed. If anyone has experience with this or has the diagrams I seek I would greatly appreciate your help.

There are 4 or 5 different wiring diagrams depending on which system is installed. The wiring in the rear is probably the same but I'd like to get you the correct diagram the first time.

Which screen is installed?
Front camera equipped or not?

Welcome to the Forum.
No one to my knowledge has done this. It might be useful if you could document your procedure if you are able to do it.

It seems as though you should be able to work out the wiring just by observing what is already present?

As far as determining power or ground, while it is powered, you should be able to measure that with a multimeter, and similarly, even unpowered, measure continuity (very low resistance) to chassis ground... unless it is a ground switched circuit.

Regardless, here is what I have for a '14, PDF attached below.

Some of the wiring colors changed between the '14 and the '17 model years.

It’s the larger screen for a 2017, I believe 8”, And yes I have the front camera. All factory original as far as those parts go.

Here's the diagram specific to your configuration.
