This is nonsense. Maybe if the cars are so inherently vulnerable, they shouldn’t be online……
May be afraid the vulnerabilities will be discovered! Which could embarrass Ford and raise demands for fixing it !
If you need the manufacturer's permission to fix your property, is it really yours? Or are you "renting" it?
