Rim sizes, will stock 97 rims fit on a 94?

I have been searching the site for a while, and havent found the answer i'm looking for yet. Sorry if this question has been asked numerous times.

My buddy is scraping a 97 exdplorer, will the stock rims fit on a 94? concerned about the hub, and the center bore.

I have the wheels from a 96 on my 91, so it should work. Don't quote me but I think all first and second gen ex's use the same bolt pattern

Yes you can use 15 and 16 inch rims that were on 2nd gens on the first gens with no issues. The hub will go right through the wheel no problem.

I have 1997 Explorer wheels on my wife's 93 4x4....no issues.
