I have a 02 Explorer Sport....

4X4 112K Miles and Blue

Has a road noise....when just barely creeping along <10mph no noise higher until infinity there is speed responding noise (ya know...go fast and it changes pitch like it sounds like it's going faster)....it been doing it a while now....the weird thing is that the noise leaves when turning left and remains constant when going straight and turning right...

The noise is comming fron the front of the car....you cannot hear the noise sticking your head out the window either side...

So Far I've replaced the Front left Wheelbearing and Axle....

there is no sign of wear on anything that I can see and everything appears tight with no signs of play

ANY IDEAS?

THANKS
JON

Tire noise? Look for a feathered pattern on the outside edges. My GY RT/S wore this way and they became noisier and noisier as they got older. Noise was louder when turning slightly compared to going perfectly straight ahead.
