Wow. Quick reply and thanks for the input.
While i am getting input, is it even worth it to try and fix/repair the flexplate (which i have no clue what that is)(guessing the starter engages it and starts the engine moving)
i have heard so many things about this make/year/model, i feel if you fix one thing - another will pop up soon after.
its got 150k miles and i have literally driven it all over this country. its not my main vehicle anymore. i parked it after this happened last year and really haven't tinkered with it since.
what started my curiosity was when i tried selling on facebook. i got alot of input as well as questions.
i dont know if its worth the effort or time for explorer heaven. it is immaculate and well cared for besides this issue. i have even considered just parting it out.
i am curious of more input here from others on this matter/vehicle.
thanks again.
