roof rack cross bars?

i want to mount my roof top carrier to my rack but i dont have the cross bars and from the looks of it none of ths 01 sports do. im debating making some but if i can buy some cheap id rather go that route. anyone have any suggestions for me on where to buy them or any pics of some they made?

You could also check out ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories These may fit, you would have to do some measuring to be sure.

i mainly want them for my roof top carrier. i used a hard one a few weeks ago and scratched the crap out of my roof and dont want to add to it. i bought a soft rooftop bag and from the looks of it itll fit if i put it sideways. id just prefer to have cross bars to sit it on

I priced a complete stock set up at a local Junkyard for my 94. They wanted $75 for everything. The slider rails and the mounting rails are what you really need. You could make stronger cross bars out of tube steel, for heavy loads.
