Dudes,

Installing a roof-mount antenna behind the sunroof assembly.

How thick is the roof in that area? Is it a single layer of sheet? Or does it have thickness to it (multiple layers of steel with a void)? Need to know to select the right mount. Thanks!

I've never had my headliner out, but have no reason to think it is anything other than single layer, maybe 0.05" thick, except there is probably a cross-member support bar running across the top between the two B-pillars, between front and rear doors. A stud finder ran along the headliner might find it?

Its' SUPER THIN.....ONE LAYER.....

Thanks! I ordered the normally antenna mount. They had one for thicker roofs (up to 1/2”). Good to know it’s thin sheet.
