Rookie looking for advice

Howdy ya'll,

I just joined the forum and am looking a little advice. I want to spice up my '98 xlt. I've looked at chips and am thinking about the hypertech. I really want to see a hp gain from modifications. Not looking to spend more than a few thousand dollars right now. I also wouldn't mind dressing up the apearance a little, inside and out. I've seen the indiglo gauges and thought those were fairly interesting. Where would I go to look for those or similar things?

There's really about 3 high performance routes you can go with the 5.0.

There's Nitrous, Supercharger, and cam (and all the stuff associated with it)

Or you could be like Troll and do all three, haha

How do i get started on the cams, super charger, or twin turbo? What is diff b/w super charger & twin turbo. And do ya'll have any idea of the costs we are talking? Any news on those indiglo gauges??
