definetely go rancho i have the rs5000 on my 98 xlt and there great shocks a little stiff but great if you do hit the trails occasionally. ive only had em for a few weeks so im not sure about durability yet but i know my buddy has ranchos on his jeep that he doesnt wheel as hard as i do my explorer and there already blown. and yes paint your rims black and leave the center hub caps chrome i did on my hideous light green ex and they look real good. id post pics if i had a camera.

cool thanks , wht kind of place did u take them to? like just regular old scrap yard?
yea just a local scrap yard
and yes apples to oranges, but i compared them by price, and i would like the nitro filed over the oil filled? out of the two which one will be better for on road, and off road use, i dont know , im just worried that theyll b super stiff....since we had them on a old f150 in it was bad to hit them bumps.... hmmmm![]()
