Occasionally, when I slowly stop for a red light, with gentle pressure on the brake pedal, my truck will start to sputter a little bit and will act like it's gonna stall but it never does, but the truck runs really rough when stopped. Once I hit the throttle and start to accelerate again, it's fine. It only does this maybe once every few days.

This isn't really a big problem right now, but does anybody know if it's a sign of things to come? Or is it just something that a high milage engine does on occasion?

Maybe FPR sticking?

What's an FPR? Never heard of that before. ;)

Fuel Pressure Regulator

I guess you don't read any engine threads.

check and clean your iac and your maf

They are both clean.

This is probably way off, but if the stumble stops as soon as the brake is released, I would wonder about the power brake assist [runs off vacuum]. There is a slim chance that the vacuum assist is sucking in air thru a leak when the brake is depressed. I would let off the brake as soon as the stumble occurs[providing it is safe to extend the stopping distance]. If the stumble stops immediately, I would investigate that area further.
