This promblem has been going on for about 3 months now. After I drive harsh or on a hot day with the ac on and than park and kill the engine, when I go to start back up it almost sounds like its going to die and the rpm drop low. I have to give it gas so it doesnt die
any comments??

One other thing, On a hot day with ac on I will get this antifreeze smell coming out the vents but yet there is no leak, new cap???

sorry wrote in a hurry

check this thread

I think you might have a problem with the IAC valve. Check this thread

I don't know about the A/C problem.

thanks , just picked one up at auto zone for 58.23
works great

Hmmm, I have that idle problem too. It only occurs when the engine is hot and it is restarted after a relatively short stop (perhaps 10 to 20 minutes). I'll look into replacing the IAC valve.

Also, the smell you are getting from the A/C -- I had that problem too. I bought some A/C and heating system cleaner from Autozone and the smell is gone now. It's a spray that you put into the ventilation system to kill bacteria and mold, etc. Spray it into the vent in front of the windshield with the fan set to high.

the smell was coming from the radiator cap. got a new one at napa for couple bucks and the smell is gone
