Hello all,
I've got an '03 Explorer with a V8. I've recently had a rebuilt tranny installed(95k). Ever since then, the truck "shakes" at 900-1000rpm. It's not a violent shaking, but more of a "roughness". I also feel a "fluttering" when accelerating. It's like there's a slight "clogged" feeling or "poor respiration", for lack of a better description. It happens whether in park or in gear. I've just had the sparks replaced, a new Harmonic Balancer(it was "wobbly"), full cleaning of throttle body, inspection of vacuum hoses, filters, etc...I'm chasing a ghost here, and I can't get this thing licked. Any thoughts? Could the installation of the tranny messed something up?
Any thoughts, direction would be greatly appreciated.
best,
-tom
