Rough idle on my 2001 Mountaineer 5.0L.

My truck only has 64k on it. When the motors warm it jumps for 600rpms to 700 0r 800rpm then drops to 400 or 500rpms and keeps going back and forth... Ive already changed the fuel filter and had my injectors cleaned out. Any ideas?

Could be vacuum leak or bad iac valve.

maybe clean the throttlebody or could b a sensor going bad

thanks guys it turned out the injectors had to be cleaned better throgh a machine... a friend of mine did it at his garage

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. Did they use the OTC or KEM cleaner?

How are the spark plugs ? I had similar symptoms, the plugs gap was so wide I could put my arm through it.

I'm not sure the type of cleaner... the garage has their own stuff made from their own company and engineers... the problem was that the injectors were sticking
